VG 95370-15 - EMC OF AND IN SYSTEMS - COUPLING AND SHIELDING TESTS

The EMC test plan is part of the management procedures according to VG 95374-4.
In which extent procedures from other standards are to be applied is laid down in the program for systems and equipment according to VG 95374-2.
The test procedures shall be adapted to the respective application and agreed with the customer.
The test procedures described in this standard are designed for the determination on devices of a system including the connecting leads and cables of:
  • Transfer impedances of the structure of equipment carriers in the frequency range from 30Hz to 30MHz (KS 01 S).
The purpose of this test procedure is intended for the determination of transfer impedance values serving as a basis for the evaluation of the decoupling effect of the structure of equipment carriers by virtue of its material properties and constructional assembly.
  • Determination of shielding attenuation in accordance with the spatial centre point method in the frequency range from 30Hz to 18GHz (KS 03 S).
The purpose of this test test procedure is intended for the determination of shielding attenuation values serving as a basis for the evaluation of the shielding effect of equipment carrier structures towards electromagnetic fields.
  • Determination of shielding attenuation at points of discontinuity of the structure of equipment carrier structures in the frequency range from 30Hz to 30MHz (KS 04 S).
The purpose of this test procedure is intended for the determination of shielding attenuation values serving for the evaluation of the shielding effect towards magnetic fields at discontinuities of the structure.

EMCTEST Technologies is a leading test laboratory in Italy and Europe for electromagnetic shielding effectiveness testing. Thanks to advanced instrumentation and extensive experience in the field, we perform measurements from 10 kHz to 110 GHz on materials and devices intended for industrial, telecommunications, medical, military, automotive, railway, marine, aerospace, scientific, governmental, and civil applications.
